That was awesome! I loved to see KE4 jacking around with defenses like a cat with a ball of yarn.

Not sure whether he was coached to do that, or whether it was just his thing. Damn, he was good at it. He was also very good at reading defenses. Just some mind meld stuff going on there.

KE's mindreading with Wert's arm would be the absolute perfect GS QB. Man, that would be sweet!
It's called "check with me." The coaches wanted him to do it. We'd set, run motion to see what the defense was going to do, the change the play from the sideline.

He didn't do it in the flex....if he did Monken would have murdered him.

People have respect for calls that donít work out. No one has any respect for 3 and outs when you have a couple inches to go for.

I think (hope) the season will at least be on TV
I just donít see deep incomplete passes and the wildcat helping much.

I don't know how next year will turn out, I don't think anyone has any idea. I'm talking about all of CFB is somewhat clueless. When will practice start, when will the season begin or end, how many games will everyone play? It is a coin toss. Television and the big school will set the standard. I will be there either way it goes.

Sure was a thing of beauty.

    He was great at it.

Yeah, they were a real drag and kept us from scoring all that much in 2014 and 2015...

We do this poll every year and 8-4 always comes out on top. It's the goldilocks zone of record predictions.

To go along with record predictions, how about confidence picks?

    8 - Georgia State
    7 - ULM
    6 - FAU
    5 - Troy
    4 - ULL
    3 - Appalachian State

I’m still cracking up that you think Ellison was playing some kind of cat and mouse game and have no clue what was actually happening.

That's pretty close to what mine would be.

I think Coastal will be the trap game and they'll get bowl-eligible this year with an improved offense. And after over-performing against App State on both sides of the ball two years in a row it's harder to believe it's luck as much as it's just schematic.

    +1

Thatís how I see it. A week-1 win in Boise would certainly be more difficult than a later win in Oxford, and FAU will be tougher than half of our conference games.
