If Fritz gets a P5 job he should make a huge donation to GS every year. Kinda like how the store that sells the winning lottery ticket gets a payout.

And it is practically home for him. Remember, he started his HC career with 10-15 years at Central Missouri and played in a college like 3hrs away on the Kansas boarder. More money to coach an SEC team with limited expectations back home, yeah, what a jerk, lol.

Sometimes, good things happen to bad people.

Willie Fritz is still responsible for this program's only FBS conference title...the hate is silly.

He elevated the program and set us up for success before Kleinlein hired the worst coach in FBS history to replace him

Sometimes. However, in this case, if he gets the job... good things happen to people that are good at what they do.

    He is a good coach.

I don’t think he’s nearly as great as people give him credit for.

I think he just looks much better than he deserves when compared to what followed.

I remain convinced that he damaged the program by leaving the way he did. (Not nearly on the scale as the low-yield thermonuclear device which followed. If he were followed by a halfway competent coach, people would more easily see his faults.)

The damage came after he left. If there’s anyone to blame for that mess, he’s still here.

Willie Fritz didn't hire Tyson Summers.

“Great” in your mind, or not, he is good enough at what he does that people want to pay him 7-figures to do it.
