Thread: Georgia Southern Honor Roll (top five)

  1. Default Georgia Southern Honor Roll (top five)

As part of the College Football 150th anniversary, the Sun Belt put out the top five all-time top players from every team.

For Southern: Peterson, Ham, Foster, Oglesby and Pesqueira.

I agree with the first three wholeheartedly, but the last two spots could be so interchangeable.

Switch out Pesqueira for Giff Smith and it is a better list.

Giff was the I-AA Defensive Player of the year in 1990, given out by Kodak ... five years before the Buck Buchanan award was started.

I might switch out Oglesby for Giff and keep Pesquiera.

However, Gross, Hill, Ross, Austin, McKinnon, and Breida all have good cases.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

I agree. My list is either two players or ten players.

DOn't know if I'd agree with the list, but I give them kudos for apparently doing research and not just looking up the leading rushers or passers or whoever went in the highest in the draft.

Any list that does not include Tom Larocco is invalid.
