What if I said that the GSU Offense scored 14 points by TDs, the defense scores 1 TD for 7 points, our offense manages to get to the CCU 30 yard line 3 times and we score with 3 Field goals by Tyler Bass ;-) for a total of 30 points.

    GSU 30 - Chickens 24.
    No that's the reason I said 27

We do need to hit that 30 point magic win mark. Our win % is awesome when we hit that, and pathetic when we don’t.

We need to go up tempo. We’ve actually looked better when we tried that.
Doubtful we incorporate any tempo now especially with the OL attrition we've had. We're pretty much one deep at center at the moment, we'll have to give them time between plays.

We'd slow down even more if possible.

    Probably.

    I doubt we will win.

6 is looking more and more difficult.

I don't have a clue on the score but we will win this week. We are not nearly as bad as some on this board think and CCU is not nearly as good as some people think. We find a win to win.

While that's true because some folks here are doomsday types, we're still a pretty bad team this year. There's literally no metric that proves otherwise, and plenty that prove it.

You are right about there not being any metric that proves we are not a below average GSU team this year as far as the games have gone thus far.

Still I am a GSU fan and wont say another team will win until they do.

It must be the old Erk and Jonson faith comming out in me.
GSU Spread Option FOOTBALL - out weighed, but never outplayed

I think our defense can hold their own against CCU, but only if our offense plays their part in helping our D rest between possessions.

We play on offense like we did on the do or die final possession of regulation against USA and we will win handedly...if we play like we did the rest of that game then not so much.

    2016
    Offense: 34.9
    Defense: 36.1
    Overall: 35.9

    2017
    Offense: 22.8
    Defense: 23.5
    Overall: 19.4

    2019
    Offense: 22.3
    Defense: 43.6
    Overall: 36.6

In terms of efficiency, this offense is worse than both years under Tyson Summers, and overall is almost identical to our 2016 season. I'm with you, I always say Georgia Southern CAN win, but I'm not going to beat around the bush that this is a bad football team.
