I was just wondering why anyone brought up recruiting.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

A response to 1peats comment "I'd say Appy does very well running the same offense everyone runs, recruiting the same players every does."

SP+ has the margin on this game at less than a point. Has Southern winning by an average of 0.7 points.

So in terms of the Sun Belt, they're below average in recruiting and don't run a TO offense....yet here they are ranked for the 2nd time with 56 wins since moving up.

"Because it's always been done that way."
Like I've said before you have to have the right Head Coach, staff and players to make any offense click. Their are a lot of teams that run the same offenses. Some are successful and some arn't running the same offense. The HC also has to have the same level of competency in his DC, staff and players to make the defense successful.
GSU Spread Option FOOTBALL - out weighed, but never outplayed
The T-Option is the powerful ground game ever devised & the FLEX is the best way to run it.
If I want your opinion & don't like it I'll tell you what it should be.

You'er right. I think GSU could run another offense with the right HC, OC, staff and players. I think a lot of the older GSC/GSU fans equate the flex option offense with winning. Under Goider & Hatcher the offense was completely changed and we didn't do very well. That doesn't mean that a new HC and system couldn't work at GSU. I think the Flex still has life in it with the right "QB" that was a true double threat QB that could run the option and pass.

If they can't get the dive play fixed during the bye week, this could go badly... I am going to assume they fix the dive, hit some big plays finally, and GSU gets the win.

Also, I love the name "Beach Chickens" that someone used, lol.
