JD King will be leading rusher.

Haven't had a feeling like this since Antonio Henton.

Come to think about it, didn't at one time, I think early in the Hatcher years we had a RB transfer from Oklahoma State? But I think in game 2 he got hurt?

Mike Hamilton. He played off and on during 2007, but I think he was damaged goods when he got here. IIRC, he’d been the Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 2005.

yep, there was some hype around him. You could see he had talent but that damaged goods really hurt him.

He got an ankle injury early in 2007 that pretty much took him out of the game.

I think he kinda got out of it after that. 2007 was a rough year on our RBs. Even Lewis suffered through an ankle injury the majority of the year.

Can somebody illuminate for me what you see as the difference in the roles and prototype for RB1 vs RB2 positions? I ask because the consensus seems to have two players cut from very different cloths at your projected #’s 1 and 2 for each position. King and Wright (at 220+) seem to me to be completely different prototypes than Kennedy and LaRoche (at <180), but folks are inclined to interchange them at will.
