Thread: Ike done for year

    Default Ike done for year

Will be applying for medical redshirt. Since he went down we are 7-7.

    Dang.

Was hoping he would be back

Hope he can get the waiver. He played in 10 games. Will that make the 30% cutoff? I wish they had shut him down at the start of the year.

    Medical Hardship Requirements

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:

The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.
The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.
The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.
The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

In spite of what some have been saying, we're missing him and will continue to miss him. &*$#.

+1000, the guy is a over 1000 point scorer, strong, plays physical and knows the system.

On his radio show last night, Byington said that they would not have made this decision unless they were 100% sure Ike would get the waiver.

He’s been average for over a year. Good thing is we get another senior next year, but we need to hit on a huge frosh class to matter.

I must have missed those posts.

Glad Ike will get a redo of his senior year, he deserves it.

I find it very hard to believe that with a healthy Ike in lineup we would be 7-7(record without him).

Agree. No doubt, he's a difference maker when healthy.
