You call that copycat but want us to put a bell tower in the middle of campus? You want to talk about copycat, there's the starting point.

    I thought the same thing

If we host the CCG the howitzer wont used. During the game between kick off and triple zeros in the 4th the game is treated as a neutral site as far as PA, pyro, video board, etc. Now we might have it on hand to fire off one last round after the Eagle victory.

Really? I know that's how it was supposed to work in the playoffs, but it never really happened like that.

My guess is the rain affected the powder, which made it have a muffled sound. No clue though.

It's a host site for a reason. Otherwise we would have used a neutral location.

The crowd was also much louder.

I agree. It does not make sense to treat this as a neutral site game when it is a "reward" for being the higher ranked team of the two division winners.

Does anyone know how the tickets will be handled if we host? Would ticket holders first choice for buying their seats for the game? Will the students get in free or will they have to buy a ticket?

I'd have to imagine the ticket office would handle non-students like it did our FCS playoff games- season ticket holders get first right of refusal on their seats before it opens to the general public.
