Thread: Go Daddy TV ratings

    Default Go Daddy TV ratings

Don't know if this has already been posted but it certainly deserves its own thread. We pulled the top rating spot with an estimated 2.3 viewers

Luckily for us, football is the only thing more 'Murcia than WWE Tribute to the Troops.

Never realized that many people actually watched WWE.

Does anyone remember the GSU vs ODU playoff game? That was our previous televised record viewers IIRC

And it isn't just the ratings from the game itself, it is the coverage on Sportscenter and "top plays" and the like. Those programs are viewed by additional people who might not have watched the game for whatever reason and gives the program a boost in hidden viewership numbers in a broader cross section of programming.

    It was roundabout 1.2MM viewers.

    EDIT: I stand corrected.

People never grow up. They just learn how to act in public.

Go Daddy may have been an inconvenient time for live fans, but the TV gods smiled upon us. There is a strong possibility that the channel/time slot was the key and, fortunately for the publicity, we were the beneficiary. As a point of reference: On Saturday the 19th the Camellia Bowl pulled 1.85 million, the New Orleans Bowl pulled 1.41 million, and the Cure Bowl wasn't listed in the top 33 cable entries. Thank you Go Daddy Bowl.
