    GSUFANS.com Signing Day Money Bomb

Signing day this year is on February 1st and to coordinate what is one of the busiest traffic days at GSUFans.com, the Georgia Southern University Athletic Foundation is teaming with our online community to coordinate a "GSUFans.com Signing Day Money Bomb".

We are encouraging everyone in the GSU community, online or not, to send in their donations on or before February 1st, 2012 for the Margin of Excellence fund. The purpose of this fund is specifically designated to incentivize coaching salaries, allowing us to continue to keep our outstanding coaching staff here with us for as long as possible.

The initial goal for the Signing Day Money Bomb is being set at a very attainable $5,000.

We are asking that you donate $5, $20, $100 or $1,000 ... whatever you can afford ... and help us make this Signing Day an annual fundraising event for supporting our coaching staff!

Donations can be made by clicking here.

Link to this post, spread the word, facebook it, tweet it, let's turn out the support for Coach Monken, his staff and all the coaches who work their tails off for us every day of the year!

Thanks for starting this up, hopefully it'll turn into a decent sized fundraiser every year.

I didn't know Mel as well as some of you, but every time I interacted with him, he was as friendly as he could be. And there was no doubt his love for

Speaking of Kennedy, I support using him like we did last season. While I still see him as a wing/all-purpose player, he's our only Gipson or Breida-like

Hate to hear that. I never met him, but know the name and who he is by the great things he's done for the program. RIP to a GREAT Eagle!

    Excited About:
    1. The defensive front 7.
    2. I think we will have the best safety play we've had since 2015 at least and that will help

Such sad news for our Eagle Nation. Mel was instrumental in the success of EFAA.

Swimmers have a greater caloric requirement than any other athletes, I think.

I actually DO think pizza is junk food. However, my son is

So, we're clearly NOT excited by the OL. It remains a huge question mark. Assuming we have a relatively "normal" season, what ARE you all excited
